ABOUT US:
Blanchard Dunkirk EMS proudly protects 2500 people living in
an area of 42 square miles. We operate out of 1 station that
protects a primarily rural area. Our department is a public
department whose members are on a volunteer status.
Blanchard Dunkirk EMS is an all volunteer EMS serving
north-central Hardin County. We currently have 17 members, 11
EMT-B's, 2 EMT-P and 4 drivers. We are planning on training 2
to the level of EMT-Intermediate this year. We operate 2
ambulances with plans to add the third in mid 2000. On March
13, 1997 we broke ground for our new EMS Station. Completion
is scheduled for March 1998. Below is a picture of our new
station taken prior to completion.
