Pender EMS is a
countywide Paramedic and Rescue provider for Pender County
in North Carolina. Encompassing approximately 900 square
miles of both rapidly developing and rural areas, Pender
County offers a variety of opportunities. Pender EMS and
Rescue is accepting applications for current Paramedic
vacancies. Applicants are preferred to have a minimum of one
year of experience. All ALS Transport and Quick Response
Vehicles (QRV’s) are equipped with: LifePak 12’s, CPAP and
IV NTG to name a few of our advanced technologies. Our full
time employees work 24 hour shifts on a 9 day rotation (one
day on, one day off, one day on, one day off, one day on and
four days off), 12 hour shifts (EMT-P). We believe you will

size.
Requirements for employment:
o Paramedic
candidates must be eligible for reciprocity within NC or
possess valid NC Paramedic credentials.

continuing education requirements.

background and driving records checks.
o Performance
Evaluation and Oral boards evaluations with our Medical
Director.$38,263.86 plus overtime and experience
