Job Description:
Paramedics needed for county based 911 system. Fayette
County EMS is a tax supported MICU level EMS organization
providing emergency and non-emergency services to the
citizens of Fayette County. We are located 60 miles east of
Austin, Texas. Our Coverage area is approximately 950 square
miles with a population of 25,000. We cover this area with 4
stations 24/7 365 using Paramedic/EMT-I staffing on a 24/48
schedule. We operate a new frontline fleet of Frazier Type I
units equipped with LP-12’s, 12 Lead ECG, Non-Invasive BP,
Pulse Ox and Stryker Stretchers. We are in the process of
upgrading to ETCO2 monitoring and a regional 900 MHz radio
system. We are also in the process of implementing new
patient care protocols that includes aggressive pre-hospital
pain management and RSI. We work closely with a brand new
state of the art 65 bed hospital located in La Grange and
enjoy generous support from our citizens and county
government.
Minimum Qualifications
*Some 911 experience prefered
*ACLS
*PHTLS/BTLS
*PALS Prefered
